We provide a free, online, evaluation based on the current market value. Our extensive database accurately estimates the price of your vehicle based upon the information you provide and provides the lowest and highest value. On inspection, either at your appointment or collection, we will confirm your final valuation.

Getting started

No problem. Please check carefully that you have entered your details correctly.
The following reasons may mean it is difficult to locate your car on our site:

  • Incorrect registration details
  • Your vehicle is from outside the UK
  • Your vehicle is more than 15 years old
  • You have a reserved private registration plate
  • Your vehicle data is not available.

If vehicle data is not available, you will be able to provide your details on the manual entry page. If you are concerned about not finding your car, motorbike or van simply get in contact or provide the details in Additional Information (Message to the Buyer section), when entering your name and mobile number on our website.

We accept cars, 4 x 4s, motorbikes and vans. If you have any other type of vehicle, just let us know - we will be happy to discuss.

At the inspection visit, our team will check the general overall condition of the vehicle and if there are any body or mechanical problems. After the inspection has been completed, we will give you the final value of your car. A vehicle in poor condition can lower the price, so please enter your vehicle's condition at Additional Information accurately. (Within the Message to the Buyer section.)

We take any standard modifications in to account when valuing your vehicle. If you feel your car has had changes made that are unusual and will increase the value of your car, simply provide the details in Additional Information (in the Message to the Buyer section), and entering your name and mobile number.

Yes we do. If you enter your registration number we will be able to provide a free valuation. If you wish to keep your private number plate, you will be able to reassign this to your new vehicle. To find out more about this process, please contact the DVLA who will be able to guide you through the procedure.

No. We understand that sometimes the reason you are selling your car is because your vehicle is beyond repair due to an accident. Simply ensure that you provide us with all the details during the valuation process and include the information in the Refine Vehicle step of our valuation process.

We will buy broken or damaged vehicles caused by accidents or due to mechanical faults. Our offer will depend upon the severity of the damage, mechanical condition and the age of the car. When filling out details for your vehicle’s valuation, (within the Additional Information section) please include as much detail as possible about the damage so that we can give you an accurate quotation.

Yes - we buy any vehicle. Just enter your vehicle details online for your free valuation and tell us if it’s a non-runner. This way we can give you an accurate market valuation for your vehicle.

Your Valuation

If you didn’t receive an email from us, don’t panic. Simply get in touch via our Contact page and we will be happy to help.

We offer a free 7 day guarantee on the quote that we give you. After 7 days, if you have not taken up the offer, we would ask that your car is revalued as the value may be subject to change according to the current market. We are not responsible for the valuation that we provide and will only confirm the price once we have inspected your vehicle. We will carry out thorough checks to ensure your vehicle matches the information you have provided.

There is no fee for the quote and no obligation to proceed. However we would ask that you consider carefully your options – you won’t find better than Baba Sell My Car! Free collection, funds paid in advance and a wealth of experience. What more could you ask for?

In order for us to get in contact with you, we need to know how to contact you! We will email you confirmation of your valuation and details of your appointment or collection. We will also contact you via phone if we need to confirm the details.

The amount that we value your car at is set within a range. There are no hidden fees or charges. The valuation range depends upon the details provided by you in our online process so please ensure these are fair and true. If we feel that the vehicle does not match the information given, we will provide an alternative valuation.

It can be as quick and easy as you like. We are able to complete a sae within 4 hours, depending on your location, valuation and vehicle condition. Once you have your valuation, arrange your appointment at our branch at your earliest convenience or book for free collection.

We pay BEFORE COLLECTION, without any handling charges.

There are no administrative charges and we do not charge any of our customers a transaction fee. If you decide not to proceed after you have received your valuation, you are not obliged to sell your vehicle. If you do wish to proceed and sell your vehicle, there will be no additional transaction fees. We pride ourselves on providing a clear, honest and transparent service.

Documentation and finance

  • Logbook (V5 document)
  • Proof of identification including proof of address (Passport, driving licence)
  • Insurance, MOT and service history if available
  • Bank details – so we can pay you!
  • Details of any finance agreement related to the vehicle
  • All car keys and any extra items – manual, lock nut, stereo code.

If you wish to sell a vehicle that is not in your name we will need to written proof from the registered owner that you have permission to sell and their permission regarding receipt of funds. We will also ask for their contact details to verify the information. If we feel that we cannot verify the owner’s consent, we will ask you to return at a later date with them, in order to proceed.

If you have lost the log book or are waiting on this from the DVLA following a recent purchase, no problem. We will carry out all the necessary identity checks and if needed, seek permission and proof of identity from the previous owner. Simply let us know in the additional information section of the valuation and we are happy to help.

The new road tax rules now state that the DVLA will refund your road tax once they have been notified of the sale. This can take up to 6 weeks and payment is usually made to the address that the DVLA holds on record. For more information please contact the DVLA at www.gov.uk.

We advise that you only do this once the sale has been completed and you will no longer be driving your car. If you drive the vehicle to our branch for the sale, please ensure you are covered by your insurance.

No problem. As long as the value of your vehicle exceeds the outstanding finance, we will pay this for you. If you have negative equity on your car, we can still purchase your vehicle. You will need to pay the difference in outstanding finance and the value of the car.

Yes, we are happy to buy vehicles that are imported. Simply let us know the details at the point of valuation within the Additional Information section.

Yes we will. If you vehicle is registered outside the UK, please ensure that you provide us with all the details.

Appointments and collection

Once you have your free online valuation, simply book an appointment by choosing one of our branches to visit or FREE collection service. You will receive a confirmation email containing all information and we will call you to confirm your appointment. After you have submitted your details we will be in touch to book a time and date convenient to you. You can also call us on the number provided to you on screen or by text after a valuation has been sent to you.

Yes you can! You may be required to wait for some time as we may be dealing with other customers who have made appointments. To save time we recommend you book an appointment date and time or let us know when you expect to arrive.

Yes! We offer free collection! Unlike other cash for car companies who charge you extra for collection, we understand that it can be difficult to find the time to drop off your vehicle. That is why we offer free collection – to make things simple and easy for you.

No, we always pay before collection.

Simply let us know where you are and our team will confirm collection. We can collect from any pre-agreed address. So if it’s easier to collect from your work place rather than home, just let us know. For more information, get in touch and we are happy to answer any questions.

The selling process usually takes no more than 30 minutes. The Baba team will inspect your vehicle and check all your documents. You will be asked to accompany us on a test drive to see how your vehicle runs. After the inspection you will be offered a final price for your vehicle and discuss a method of payment.
